The Sherpani Rumba gets its name from the Nepalese word for a female Sherpa, the Tibetan people who live on the southern slopes of the Himalayas and expertly guide mountaineering expeditions. In the spirit of these brave, mountaineering women, the Sherpani Rumba Superlight was born.

The Sherpani Rumba Superlight is, as the name suggests, a lightweight alternative to the award-winning Sherpani Rumba. The Sherpani Rumba Superlight is considerably lighter than other frame baby carriers, weighing in at just 67 ounces (without accessories). But everything has a tradeoff; the Sherpani Rumba Superlight has slightly less volume for storage than the original Sherpani Rumba, and it comes in only one size frame.
The Sherpani Rumba Superlight includes a large mesh back pocket as well as a lower storage compartment, to stash your necessities. The Sherpani Rumba has clean and simple lines, because your life is already busy. You don't want your baby carrier to be busy, too. The Sherpani Rumba is available in black, red, blue, and green; bold, outdoor colors that balance the demands of your life with the tranquility of nature.
The makers of the Sherpani Rumba Superlight consider your baby's comfort and safety to be the highest priority, and have included stirrups that allow your baby to rest their legs, improving leg circulation.
